Fees

Eagle Eye fees are calculated on a typical amount of time an inspector will spend both on site "inspecting" and in the office - "report writing".

It is typical for an inspector to spend 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 hours on site and another 1+/- hours entering the report information into a computer-based report system.   We refuse to rush reporting or report-writing as both are equally important to our clients and all parties involved. 

When comparing our fees to other inspectors we ask that you remember these important points:

Our inspectors are ASHI  CERTIFIED member/candidates.

Every report is computer-generated in an easy-to-read format.

bullet

All deficiencies listed in the report are PRIORITIZED in their importance.    This makes decision making regarding "repair needs" much easier for you.

All copies, in addition to the printed/bound copy, may be sent over the internet for quick viewing.

bullet

All reports include color photos of major issues, as needed, to aid the client in understanding the dwelling's current condition.

Suggested fee structure based on approximate dwelling square footage and performance according to the NCHILB's Standards of Practice.   Deviation from agreed "standards" or in the size or age of the structure inspected could affect the fee requested.

                        Inspections performed on weekends at the request of a client may carry a small surcharge.

**Typical septic system testing is considered inconclusive and not recommended.   Tests are performed only with the full knowledge of the client's understanding that an invasive septic evaluation is recommended.

            Unless previously arranged, payment is expected at the time of service.
